SANDUSKY — Tax revenue in Erie County is on a pace to set more records for most ever collected, continuing a steady increase over time in the lodging taxes and sales tax columns.
Erie County’s share of the big number — retail sales tax revenue — will finish up at about $22,500,000, according to county estimates, about $6 million more than what was collected in 2016.
Estimated total hotel taxes collected in 2025 are about $800,000 more than in 2015.
