SANDUSKY — The circus is moving to Toledo.
On March 16, the Sixth District Court of Appeals dropped a notice that should have every official in Huron and Erie counties checking their calendars. On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 10 AM, three judges—Thomas J. Osowik, Gene A. Zmuda, and Charles E. Sulek—will hear oral arguments in the case of State of Ohio v. Ashli Ford.
The timing is poetic. On April Fool’s Day, the court will decide if the legal system is going to continue being played for a fool by a podcaster who treats felony intimidation like a business model.
