Ashli Ford comments put family at risk
Police say podcaster spreading disinformation about pending criminal case
SANDUSKY — Ashli Ford, who was convicted last year on felony intimidation charges for threatening Norwalk city officials, has been spreading misinformation at Facebook about a pending criminal investigation, according to Perkins police.
In particular, Ford is targeting a local man’s wife, after her husband was arrested on a charge of disseminating matter harmful to a juvenile. Ford is claiming the woman knew about her husband’s crimes and alleging the woman and police are lying about her marital status.
“Despite claims that she put him out of the house a month ago he was arresred at the house,” Ford claimed. She said the woman would have to prove her marital status. “If she put him out a month ago, like is being claimed, where are the divorce papers?”
Ford, who has a history of attacking family members of crime victims, also appears to be shaming the woman, directly.
