Ashli Ford, facing new charges, remains defiant

SANDUSKY — Ashli Ford, convicted earlier this year on four felony counts of intimidation, appears undeterred as her August 18 sentencing date approaches — even as she faces new criminal charges in a separate mortgage fraud case in Erie County.

In the past 24 hours, Ford has posted a flurry of public messages to Facebook, asserting her continued involvement in local investigations and defending her conduct in both cases.
“They are waiting on me to finish turning over evidence,” Ford wrote late Monday, referencing a recent meeting with an investigator at the Sandusky public library. “Nothing to see here....”
On Wednesday morning, she added:
