SANDUSKY — An attorney representing Ashli Ford is seeking to have Erie County Prosecutor Kevin Baxter removed from Ford’s upcoming trial on forgery and mortgage fraud charges. The defense attorney, Peter Pattakos, is arguing that Baxter should be called as a material witness in the case.

Erie County Common Pleas Judge Beverly McGookey is scheduled to rule on the motion next month.
