Ashli Ford in court
Faces felony forgery, theft and fraud charges
SANDUSKY — An attorney representing Ashli Ford is seeking to have Erie County Prosecutor Kevin Baxter removed from Ford’s upcoming trial on forgery and mortgage fraud charges. The defense attorney, Peter Pattakos, is arguing that Baxter should be called as a material witness in the case.

Ford, 42, who was arrested in July, was arraigned in Judge McGookey’s courtroom on Tuesday (Dec. 9) on two additional charges: identity fraud and an additional count of tampering with evidence.
