SANDUSKY — Convicted podcaster Ashli Ford ratcheted up her attacks at Facebook on Erie County Common Pleas Judge Beverly McGookey, the judge scheduled to preside over her bank fraud trial next month.

Two of Ashli Ford’s ‘regular contributors’ made obscene hand gestures toward Ford’s victims after she was convicted on four felony intimidation charges in 2025 in Erie County Common Please Court. The supporters made the gestures while one victim was giving a victim impact statement. (StayTunedSandusky/file photo).

Ford suggested the judge’s husband and the family business is on the verge of collapse due to her husband’s mismanagement of it.

“The McGookeys’ business, livelihood, freedom and reputation were on the line when the judge accepted my case assignment, and ultimately tampered with my jury,” Ford wrote in a Facebook post Saturday. “All because her (deleted) husband tried to bully, harass, intimidate, and blame a paralegal for his actions. His biggest mistake was trying to sue this woman based on lies.”
