SANDUSKY — Prosecutors became convinced that convicted podcaster Ashli Ford lied under oath at her fraud trial in May after finding definitive photographic evidence—ironically—on Facebook.

“Enjoying lunch with my beautiful wife. God bless everyone and have a great day,” Dr. Eugene “Doc” Sanders wrote in a public post on August 16, 2022.

The accompanying photo features his wife, Paulette, standing smiling in front of E.R. Bradley’s Saloon in West Palm Beach, Florida. Situated right along the scenic South Florida Intracoastal Waterway, the legendary open-air tavern acts as a sun-soaked local landmark—located roughly 1,100 miles away from Sandusky.

That specific date—August 16, 2022—is the exact day Ashli Ford asserted under oath that she saw her husband’s uncle, Dr. Sanders, at the Sandusky Board of Education office.
