Buderer Drug Co.'s expansion on Hancock Street underway

SANDUSKY — Buderer Drug Co. is moving forward quickly with its expansion at its Hancock Street location, a 4,715-square-foot addition to the north of the existing building.

The expansion will dedicate 2,642 square feet for business operations and 2,073 square feet for storage. No new public space will be added; the additional space is designed to support production areas for employees, according to submitted site plans.

The project, which was approved by the city in May, also includes changes to on-site parking. Six new spaces are planned — three for employees north of the building addition and three for public use in the area currently occupied by the dumpster. The dumpster itself will be relocated to the rear of the employee parking lot, with a 10-foot access lane for trash services.
