County commissioners approve health department's renewal levy; put others on notice that every tax issue is due a careful, thorough review

SANDUSKY — Erie County’s Blue Ribbon Committee formally delivered its final report Wednesday, laying out 18 recommendations aimed at reducing the property tax burden on local residents.

County commissioners received the report during their regular meeting and said it would kick off a countywide review of local government spending and levy priorities.
