SANDUSKY — As seasonal hiring operations unfold across the North Coast, Cedar Point and its parent entity, Magnum Management Corp., remain under an active 5-year federal consent decree stemming from age discrimination violations enforced by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

The consent decree, entered in federal court for the Northern District of Ohio (Western Division), resolved claims under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA). The EEOC alleged that during the 2021 and 2022 park seasons, Cedar Point implemented an unlawful policy denying company-provided housing and transportation benefits to seasonal workers age 40 and older.
