The City of Sandusky has taken initial possession of the historic Boeckling Building, a key downtown waterfront property long seen as a potential anchor for redevelopment. But before it becomes a permanent city asset, officials have up to 180 days to evaluate the building’s condition and decide whether to formally accept or reject the donation.
