Cleveland Road roundabout open; and so is Cedar Point
It's a new spin on Cedar Point Drive near the causeway
SANDUSKY — If you’re heading toward the peninsula this weekend, the landscape looks a little different. Just in time for Cedar Point’s opening day today, the city officially opened the new roundabout at Cleveland Road and Cedar Point Drive.
As of Thursday afternoon, the barricades were down and traffic is flowing through the new circular intersection. It’s a major milestone for the Cleveland Road Safety Improvement Project, aiming to smooth out the white-knuckle congestion we’ve all experienced at that junction.
