SANDUSKY —Luvada Wilson resigned Wednesday from Sandusky City Commission, citing ongoing health concerns.

Tim Schwanger has been the voice of the opposition for more than 20 years. As the fourth-place finisher in the November 2025 election, he now has the chance to serve from behind the table. (Register photo)

The city charter dictates that the next highest votegetter in the last general election— Tim Schwanger, in this instance—is appointed to the seat provided they are still qualified to be a commissioner. Schwanger, a close associate of convicted podcaster Ashli Ford and a former City Commissioner Greg Lockhart, convicted on a sex crime charge committed against a child, was not immediately available for comment.
