SANDUSKY — Three city commissioners-elect will be on the sidelines Monday as commission considers some big-ticket spending measures, from buying rock salt for $132,000 to building a sewer treatment digester for $2.4 million.
Commissioners-elect Luvada Wilson, Gregg Peugeot and Tom Tucker take office in January after finishing one, two and three in the city commission race Nov. 4. The first organizational meeting for the new commission is Jan. 12, during which commissioners will select a new president and vice president of commission. For the past 12 years, commissioners Dennis Murray Jr. and Dick Brady have served in those roles.
