MILAN — A Huron man was reunited with a piece of his history recently after receiving a note from the principal at Edison High School.
“I lost my class ring 41 years ago,” Matthew Exell wrote in a post at Facebook on Wednesday. “Thanks to someone at Edison high school and thanks to the principal, Dr.Nick Wenzel, for getting it back to me.”
There was no immediate explanation from Wenzel who found the ring or how he tracked Ezell down.
According to the post, the ring was found at Edison High School, and someone turned it in. After some research, Wenzel was able to identify Ezell as the owner and arranged to get it back to him.
Ezell, 59, said he’s grateful to have the ring back.
