SANDUSKY — Early voting to date is on pace to challenge 2024—a presidential election year— for the most early ballots cast.
As of this morning, 3,821 registered voters have visited the elections board office on Columbus Avenue, according to board director Alex Jones.

“We’re averaging 395 voters a day in office,” Jones said.

In 2024, when President Donald J. Trump was on the ballot, 20,263 voters cast their ballot early, and in 2022, another off-year election, 11,767 voters cast their ballot early, according to Jones.
