Erie County weighs expanding homestead tax credit
Revenue cuts would give seniors a break; school districts push back
SANDUSKY — Erie County commissioners heard testimony on Wednesday on a proposal to expand two property tax relief programs: the state’s homestead exemption for low-income seniors and disabled homeowners, and the owner-occupied credit available to residents who live in their homes.
