SANDUSKY — Ashli Ford convinced Facebook administrators to remove a one-minute news video published by StayTunedSandusky.com detailing her criminal history, raising new questions about social media censorship of local press coverage.
Meanwhile, Ford is actively promoting an hour-long unauthorized audio clip on her Facebook page taken from a private business meeting. The recording—obtained and distributed without corporate authorization—has prompted the owners to demand that Ford immediately remove the material from her platform.
In the news clip video censored by Facebook, Ford said she used her fists.
“I made a name for myself by reacting swiftly and with more force than necessary,” she stated.
Ford openly discusses her past anger and physical confrontations. Her name meant “explosive violence,” she said.
The removal of the news video comes as Ford faces mounting legal battles. Convicted in 2025 on four felony counts of intimidation involving Norwalk city officials, victims testified during sentencing about the severe distress and fear her online campaigns caused their families.
