SANDUSKY — A motorcyclist was killed early today when he went left of center, struck a curb and collided with a utility pole guide wire before coming to a stop near the front entrance of 7-11 on Camp Street.
A female passenger on the bike was ejected and suffered non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Raymond L. Dickman, 29, suffered critical injuries. He was transported by emergency personnel to Firelands Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
The accident happened at 2 a.m.
Investigating officers suspect speed and alcohol were contributing factors in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
