MARGARETTA TWP. — The investigation to determine why a southbound motorist on Old Railroad Road near West Strub Road went off the road Monday evening, striking obstructions and overturning, is continuing.
First responders pulled the driver from the SUV and attempted life-saving procedures but the man died at the scene, said Sandusky post Commander Lt. Shaun Robinson of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The accident happened about 8 p.m.
The driver’s name has not been released and it’s yet to be determined what caused the accident, Robinson said.
