Convicted podcaster was trying to raise money for her legal defense
SANDUSKY — One month before her arrest last year on a 19-count indictment charging her with extortion and intimidation, Ashli Ford allegedly threatened to sell private messages she exchanged with police officers — including one who claimed she tried to extort him.
