GIBSONBURG— A manhunt has ensued after a Gibsonburg police officer was stabbed in the neck this morning, according to Sandusky County Sheriff Chris Hilton.
The suspect is Scott Dodd, 25, Hilton said, and he is considered armed and dangerous.
Gibsonburg residents are being asked to stay home until Dodd is captured.,
If he’s seen, please call 911. Do not approach him, Hilton said.
The incident happened on West Madison Street.

The officer, who has not been named, is currently in surgery at a Toledo-area hospital, officials said.
