Girls Don't Matter 2: Everyone gets cleared
A breakdown of names, claims and 'dismissals'
HURON — An investigation of sexual harassment and misconduct allegations leveled by Ashli Ford against four Huron Schools employees — two building principals, the athletic director and the district’s schools resource officer — cleared all four men of any wrongdoing.
A report of the investigation filed by a firm the school district hired was filed on Friday. The school board contracted with the Venice Solutions Group, based in Hudson, in May to investigate those allegations. A school board member and a former student also made allegations the employment consulting firm was hired to investigate.
Ford, a woman who prosecutors say exploits crime victims and falsely accuses police of wrongdoing to draw attention to herself and generate views and revenue at her social media pages, met with the investigator on July 7 and presented her allegations.

“There were limited details regarding the potential complaints and the respondents related to the allegations,” David Brode, an assistant Portage County prosecutor working with the firm wrote in the report.
“She shared detail, including what she alleged was a pattern of inappropriate behavior by district employees and the actions of the district’s administration to cover it up,” Brode wrote in the report. Police also were involved, Ford told Brode.
