SANDUSKY — Five nuns fight catastrophe after the Little Sisters of Hoboken convent cook accidentally poisons the order and kills 52 nuns. They had enough money to bury 48 of them, but Mother Superior spent some of the funds to buy a big-screen TV.
The are still four sisters waiting for burial, stored in a freezer. It’s a race against time for the five convent survivors to raise money through a variety show musical or be discovered.
The stars — Heather Chapman Smith as Reverend Mother Sr. Mary Regina, Julie Pratt as Sister Mary Hubert, Donna Sutter as Sister Mary Robert Anne, Mary Malevich as Sister Mary Leo and Corrine Howery as Sister Mary Amnesia — form an incredible team and turn in a top-notch musical for locals in “Nunsense” at the Sandusky Harlequins Coach House Theatre .
