HURON — Police are investigating the death of a 2-month-old baby on Wednesday.
Police Chief Terry Graham said officers were dispatched to an apartment complex in 500 block of Cleveland Road West at about 11:40 a.m. The boy was not breathing and was unresponsive, Graham said in a news release.
“The child was later transported to the Firelands Regional Medical Center by the Huron Fire Department where he was pronounced deceased,” Graham said.
An autopsy was completed at the Lucas County Coroner’s Office on Thursday. StayTunedSandusky.com made a public records request for the autopsy report.
“This investigation is on-going and there will be no more information released at this time,” Graham said.
Editor’s note: Article has been corrected concerning when the autopsy was performed.
