Huron school officials looked other way when soccer coach went out of bounds

HURON — The Huron City School District failed to act for five years after learning that a girls soccer coach was improperly interacting with student-athletes, according to a July 16, 2024, hearing notice from the Ohio Department of Education (ODE)

The allegations against Coach Ryan Manner include a pattern of “conduct unbecoming” that began as early as 2019. Despite early warnings, Manner remained in his position for several years. His exact date of termination is not clear.
