Husted, Moreno won't attend Social Security forum in Sandusky

Kaptur will be here but Senators can't fit Aug. 20 into their schedules

SANDUSKY — Ninth District U.S. Rep. Marcy Kaptur is the only representative in Washington to agree to participate in next month’s Social Security forum. Kaptur re-confirmed Friday that she will be here for the panel Q&A on Aug. 20.

But U.S. Sen. Jon Husted and U.S. Sen. Bernie Moreno both declined invitations, saying they could not fit the forum into their schedules even after it was rescheduled in an effort to try to accommodate when Congress is on recess.
