SANDUSKY — With the midterms looming, Ohio’s political landscape is reaching a boiling point. Republicans are stumping across the state—and on Cable TV—to consolidate support, framing the upcoming election as a stark ultimatum for working-class voters.
During an appearance Monday on CNN’s The Source with Kaitlin Collins, Moreno stumped heavily for Jon Husted in his bid against former U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown, the man Moreno defeated in 2024. Striking an aggressive tone, Moreno took direct aim at the long-time Democratic figure, throwing his full weight behind Husted and declaring that “Jon Husted is going to defeat the political has-been named Sherrod Brown.”
