TOLEDO — Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur forcefully condemned the systemic corruption in Ohio’s energy sector, specifically the FirstEnergy scandal, arguing that its actions have bilked Ohioans out of “billions” of dollars and caused the loss of industrial jobs.

In a wide-ranging interview the day she was called back to Washington for a vote on reopening the federal government, Kaptur talked about her re-election campaign, gerrymandering, and how Washington has changed.
