SANDUSKY — City Commissioner Richard Koonce derided news coverage from Stay Tuned Sandusky on Monday regarding the city’s decision to eliminate dedicated, specialized interest rooms from the out-of-school program at Mills School.

Koonce, an officer with the NAACP, also ignored a workplace discrimination complaint made by the city’s only Black supervisor in an exit interview with HR staff earlier this month after she resigned to become a director with the Erie County Health Department.
