Lead prosecutor pulls curtain on podcaster Ashli Ford
She takes credit where no credit is due
NORWALK — A local podcaster got called out on national TV Wednesday at a murder trial for a man her supporters claim she was responsible for getting arrested,

An assistant Ohio Attorney General called out Ashli Ford on Wednesday during his opening argument in the trial of Paul Hicks, who is charged with killing his wife Regina Hicks on Oct. 18, 2001.
Ford was in the courtroom with her husband, Ezekiel.
“This isn’t some internet fad started by some podcaster in 2024,” Kasaris told jurors. “This was an investigation (re)started in 2021. More than 80 people were interviewed. More than 80 people were met with and talked to.”
