SANDUSKY — An audience member at a fight for lower taxes forum on Friday asked if taxpayers were footing the bill for religious services in public school districts.

“Is LifeWise being funded by our school taxes. This is something I can’t seem to get an answer for,” a Huron County woman asked the panel.

“No,” Margaretta Superintendent Ed Kurt responded. “They’re funded on their own. There’s no funding going to them.”
