SANDUSKY — It was a tense morning today when the Sandusky Schools Administration received notification of a possible firearm at the Sandusky Digital Learning Center. Here is a news release from them that was sent to district families at about noon.
“Today, December 4, 2025, the Sandusky City Schools Administration was notified of a possible firearm at the Sandusky Digital Learning Center. Immediately upon notification, our district and building administration worked with the Sandusky Police Department to quickly locate and remove the firearm and the student from the building without incident. All students and staff are safe. We appreciate our partnership with the Sandusky Police Department for their expedited action and thorough investigation. The safety and security of our students and staff are our highest priority. As a reminder, we ask our students, staff, and community to speak up and say something if they see or hear anything.
