Mayor: Ashli Ford’s false claims still endanger victims

NORWALK — Mayor David Light says the trial of Ashli Ford may be over, but the damage she caused — and the danger he believes she still poses — remain.

Ford, convicted last month of threatening four public officials, was sentenced Aug. 18 to three years of probation and a suspended nine-month jail term. For Light, who testified during the trial, the sentence was disappointing.
