Motorcyclist killed after failing to negotiate curve

EDEN TWP. – A 43-year-old motorcyclist was killed Sunday evening when his bike went off the road, the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Norwalk Post reported. It happened at about 7:21 p.m., the Patrol said, on Ohio Route 100 near Route 67 in Eden Township, Seneca County.
David M. Clayton, 43, of Bucyrus, was driving a 2014 Harley Davidson Street Glide motorcycle southbound when he failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned, the Patrol said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Clayton was not wearing a helmet at the time the crash occurred, and the crash remains under investigation.
