Part 3: Ashli Ford talks tough but slinks away

She tells supporters she's all in; tells police she won't help

SANDUSKY —Ashli Ford often says things like, “I’m honored to speak for victims,” or “I’m humbled people put their trust in me.”

But a report released Friday of a10-month long investigation casts a long shadow of doubt on those claims. The report, of an investigation into allegations Ford made in May against the Huron city police Schools Resource Officer (SRO) shows she never spoke for victims, at all, even as she was telling supporters she was.
