Were you there? See who was
SANDUSKY —
Families packed Mills Street — from Pierce to Perkins Avenue — on Friday afternoon for the 6th Annual Community Collaboration Day, hosted by Sandusky Rec and dozens of community partners.
The free, family-friendly event featured food trucks, free hot dogs, chips, drinks, and ice cream, along with a giant inflatable water slide, dunk tank, and chalk art for all ages.
Health screenings were available from the Erie County Health Department, while local organizations lined the street with free resource tables. One of the most popular stops: free back-to-school haircuts provided by barbers from the Hall of Fame Barbershop at the Sandusky Mall.
Community Collaboration Day has become a summer tradition, drawing families together for an afternoon of fun, support, and neighborhood connection.
