PORT CLINTON — A harrowing multi-year civil rights battle in Ottawa County has concluded with a $1.7 million payout to former firefighter and EMT Rebekah Huskey-Archacki.

The settlement, paid by the City of Port Clinton through its insurer, resolves a federal lawsuit stemming from serial sexual harassment, physical assault, and systemic workplace retaliation orchestrated by former Fire Chief Kent Johnson.
