NORWALK — It’s unknown if anyone from the Ohio Attorney General’s office or the state Bureau of Criminal Investigation will be attending or taking questions at a Cleveland Missing news conference next week for Amanda Dean’s family.

Sylvia Colon, co-founder of the nonprofit that advocates on behalf of families with missing loved ones, has barred StayTunedSandusky.com from attending the Jan. 20, news conference. She objected to questions a reporter asked on Jan. 5 after Fred Reer Jr.’s sentencing hearing — about the 6-year delay starting a murder investigation and whether it’s been determined if that delay was caused by police negligence or criminal wrongdoing.
