🗺️ Congressional districts must be redrawn for 2026

Why? The map used in 2022 and 2024 was not passed with bipartisan support, so under the Ohio Constitution, it expires and must be replaced in time for the 2026 elections.

Here’s how that process works:

STEP 1: General Assembly has until Sept. 30, 2025

Ohio lawmakers must try to pass a new map by a 3/5 supermajority in each chamber, with bipartisan support.
