Rinse and repeat: Ashli Ford again claims she's helping
Special prosecutor looks at grieving mother's criminal complaint against self-proclaimed savior for allegedly harassing her family
NORWALK — Ashli Ford told a Sandusky Register reporter and supporters at social media this week that she’s turned over new evidence in the Katelynn Shepard suspicious death investigation, but the sheriff’s office says it didn’t happen.
It’s the same cat-and-mouse, clickbait behavior that led to a slew of criminal charges against Ford last year. The reporter told Tricia that Ford told him she turned over the information. Ford may be motivated, perhaps hoping to get Tricia to back away from a criminal complaint she filed against Ford. A family spokesperson said the sheriff’s office confirmed earlier today that it has not received anything from Ford, contrary to what she told the reporter.
