CLAY TWP. — A person was killed this morning in a traffic accident on state Route 51 and Route 795 in the township this morning, in Ottawa County.
The Ohio Highway Patrol is investigating. Troopers on scene report that all lanes of traffic are closed for an extended period of time. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution in the area.
Detour routes are being maintained. The coroner has been contacted.
