SANDUSKY — Sandusky City Commission approved spending $289,000 on commercial-grade gym equipment when it approved the constriction project for the new fitness center on Rockwell Street.
The purchase order was placed on April 10, 2026, by city recreation coordinator Chris Mehling, and some equipment has already started arriving. The list includes treadmills, exercise bikes, ellipticals, weight machines, free weights, delivery, professional installation, and extended service warranties.
