SANDUSKY — Police are searching for two suspects involved in two separate shootings Aug. 16 at about the same at the same East Pierce Street address.

A source familiar with the investigation said investigators are confident they are closing in on the man suspected of killing 24-year-old Markier Castile. Castile was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck when police were called to the home, where the owners were hosting a pool party.
Both shooting incidents hammered shorty after midnight that Sunday morning.
A second man also was on the ground when police arrived, suffering wounds in the stomach and/or lower part of his body, according reports. It’s unclear whether a second suspect has been identified, but sources have confirmed there are two suspects, two shootings in two separate incidents.
Both men were flown to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, where Castile died days later. He was 24, and from Sandusky. The second man remains hospitalized at MetroHealth. His condition was upgraded earlier this week from critical to stable, according to sources.
Police have confirmed they have identified a 24-year-old man as a suspect in Markier’s murder. He is on the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force listed as a top fugitive. It’s unclear if anyone has been identified in the second man’s shooting.
