State Health Dept.: More than 1,300 cyclosporiasis cases reported in Ohio

In Erie County there were more than 20 cases reported last week

COLUMBUS — Ohio has reported 1,316 cyclosporiasis cases as of Thursday, according to the Ohio Department of Health, as the parasite makes headlines around the country for causing gastrointestinal illness described by some as “explosive diarrhea.”
