SANDUSKY — The Supreme Court of Ohio has rejected Ashli Ford’s latest attempt to disqualify presiding Judge Beverly K. McGookey from her criminal case (State v. Ohio v. Ashli Ford, Case No. 2025-CR-0316).
In a Judgment Entry and Decision filed late Tuesday, Chief Justice Sharon Kennedy formally dismissed the successive affidavit filed by defense counsel Peter Pattakos, ordering that the underlying criminal case proceed under Judge McGookey’s authority.
