Survey of sheriff's sunk boat imprecise
It's still worth about $300,000, probably

A high-end Novielli Sere 36 that slipped under water at Gem Beach Marina in July has been inspected by a marine surveyor, with the findings now in the hands of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
The $300,000 vessel, a 36-foot aluminum performance boat, was hauled out at Terry’s Marine in Lakeside/Marblehead on Aug. 13, where surveyor David A. Monak of Monak Marine Surveying conducted an out-of-water inspection. The survey was requested by Chief Deputy Brad York.
Monak’s report confirmed the vessel is structurally sound overall but flagged several concerns:
