ThorSport owners lead group that bought Sandusky Speedway

SANDUSKY — The biggest question mark hanging over the local racing scene was answered earlier this month: Sandusky Speedway has a new owner. The historic, half-mile oval was purchased for $1.1 million by JDI Properties Holdings LLC, an entity led by Duke and Rhonda Thorson, the locally-based owners of the powerhouse NASCAR team, ThorSport Racing.
