Health dept. wants county commissioners to place levy on ballot, now
SANDUSKY — Erie County commissioners want to review a request from the health department to place a renewal levy on the fall ballot, a move county health commissioner Pete Schade said isn’t appropriate.
“It’s not up to county commissioners whether this levy is approved,” Schade said. “It’s up to voters.”
