SANDUSKY — Sandusky City Commissioner Dave Waddington worked since about 2006 to make Lions Park a destination place for the city again. In a telephone interview Tuesday, he talked about Monday’s vote to continue the restoration efforts.
Dave Waddington is a former powerlifter and strongman from Sandusky. Apart from his three appearances at the World's Strongest Man finals, winning third in 1981, he is also famed as the first man to ever squat 1,000 lbs.
